How Much Will You Earn?
Maximize your earnings with Roehl’s Total Compensation Plan
Over-the-road driver pay can be complicated, which makes comparing pay plans a challenge. That’s why you need a whole package with powerful components to help maximize your earnings.
P.M.P. (Practical Mileage Pay)
Roehl offers PMP (Practical Mileage Pay). Many other companies pay short route
(HHG) miles. Roehl's PMP can add thousands of dollars to your annual income
because you're paid for more of the miles you've driven. Typically 5% more
miles.
Mileage pay
Roehl’s rates are only a portion of the compensation equation. We also work hard to keep drivers moving so you can maximize your earning potential. It is our goal to provide drivers 2,300 to 2,600 miles per week. It is that balance that turns into a top income.
Multiple Pay Options
Roehl drivers can choose, based on their individual needs, the pay plan that works best for them. Roehl offers a Tax Advantage Pay Plan (allowing drivers to pay less weekly taxes and take home more weekly net pay) or a Premium Pay Plan. The Power of Red is pay choices.
Profit sharing
Roehl also adds to drivers' financial well-being with one of the strongest profit sharing plans in the industry. Even during the economic downturn Roehl remained profitable and lived up to its commitment by sharing thousands of dollars in profits with our drivers.
Achievable bonuses
Almost every company mentions bonuses as part of their pay plan. But if the bonus qualifications are unrealistic (as many are), you’d better not count on them.
When you experience the Power of Red you can count on quarterly safety and performance bonuses and an annual mileage bonus being achievable. And, because they are, you can add as much as $2,000 to your income. In fact, the vast majority of Roehl drivers earn them.
Orientation Pay
Upon successful completion of orientation, meeting Roehl’s qualifications and becoming a hire, you will earn $250.
Earn even more
We have still more ways drivers can add to their incomes—like becoming a driver trainer (where you can add as much as $10,000 to your income) or referring other drivers to Roehl.
Roehl pays drivers for services many other companies overlook—like all intermediate pickups and drops, tarping pay for flatbed drivers, premiums if you go to NYC or Canada, and extra when you haul a hazmat load.
Whether it is hand loading/unloading, driving through designated areas, crossing borders or customer delays, you’ll earn extra pay for other work performed with Roehl.
